I am a teacher, who has taught in the nursery, primary and secondary school for decades. I understand that the role of the teacher in the 21st century is that of guidance, using questioning skills that will enhance and groom the learners to be critical thinkers, assigning tasks that encourage collaboration so that the learners are global citizens, contributing positively to the growth and development of both their immediate and outer environment.
